Grand Prize Winner

Congratulations to our Grand Prize Winner, Trey Reynolds with Siteworks of Southwest Florida, Inc. Trey had the best overall score after all results were calculated from both Operator Challenge Events. Trey will travel to Clayton, NC this October to represent Siteworks of Southwest Florida, Inc. and Ring Power in the Caterpillar Regional Competition. The winner from each Regional Competition advances to compete against operators from around the world, at the Global Finals at ConExpo, Las Vegas, NV in March 2023!

 CHALLENGES FOR CHAMPIONS

Do you have what it takes to be named the "Best Operator" in North & Central Florida?



Show off your skills and experience as you compete against other Operators at either Ring Power's St. Augustine or Tampa demo yard. Or, just cheer on your favorite Operator.



Operators will be put to the test with three different machines in three different obstacle courses. Each performance will be scored based on speed, accuracy, and operating best practices, with penalties imposed for errors.

The Operator with the best overall score will be recognized as the champion.



The Operator's company must be located within Ring Power's North or Central Florida territories to be eligible to participate. A maximum of (2) operators per company will be allowed to participate. Make sure to apply before the April 20th deadline.

  ALL REGISTERED COMPETITORS WILL RECEIVE PARTICIPATION GIFTS.

DAILY PRIZES

1st, 2nd,& 3rd place prizes will be awarded to the Operators with the best scores from the Morning session and Afternoon session

during both Operator Challenge Events - Saint Augustine and Tampa.

Only skilled Operators are encouraged to compete. To ensure the safety of all participants and staff, you must complete a "qualifier course" to help determine your level of expertise.

IF YOU DO NOT PASS, YOU CANNOT COMPETE, but can stay and enjoy the activities.

AM SESSION

CHALLENGE COMPETITIONS

9:30 am - 12:00 pm





OPERATOR CHALLENGE COMPETITION - AM SESSION

A required safety briefing will kick off the competition. If you are not at the safety briefing - you will be disqualified. 



You must compete on all three courses. The competitions will be held in groups. All three course challenges will be actively hosting participants at the same time.

OPERATOR COURSE CHALLENGES

 THE LOAD AND CARRY CHALLENGE

  

Operators will use a Wheel Loader with Production Measurement technology to load and move material through specified points in a course.

THE FULLY LOADED CHALLENGE

 

Operators use a Cat Excavator with Production Measurement technology to accurately load a target.

THE AGILITY CHALLENGE



Operators use a Cat Skid Steer Loader to navigate a “course” and maintain balance and material control.
